HeadHunter Group, which owns the Internet recruitment service of the same name that operates in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, will publicly launch the social network for networking "Setka" in the summer of 2024. It will bring together specialists from IT, digital and creative fields.
The company's press service stated that with the help of "Setka", users will be able to build new connections and develop in a professional community. The social network will have tools for developing a personal brand.
The launch of "Setka" was announced in December 2023. The platform was open to developers and their friends. The networking application was also uploaded to the AppStore and Google Play. Access to it is available to a limited circle of users.
The Western social network LinkedIn was blocked in Russia in 2016 by decision of Roskomnadzor. The site's administration ignored the rules for storing personal data of Russian users. Later, LinkedIn tried to appeal this decision, but the Moscow court upheld it.
