Russian citizens on the beaches of Turkish Antalya will be rescued by "Chakush" drones this year

Drones will be able to deliver a lifebuoy faster than a professional lifeguard

The city authorities of Turkish Antalya have purchased 30 special "Chakush" drones that will patrol the beaches of hotels. Drones are not afraid of contact with water and will help in rescuing drowning people.

If someone needs help, the lifeguard will signal the drone operator with a whistle, and the drone will go to help. "Chakush" can reach an average speed of 80 km/h and flies to a drowning person with a lifebuoy in 8-10 seconds. This is much faster than the capabilities of any professional lifeguard, who will need about 1.5 minutes.

Last year, rescue drones were used on the beaches of Kemer. Now they are being introduced in other Turkish cities as well.

Let us remind you that last year 6.3 million Russians chose to vacation in Turkey. They took first place in terms of the number of travelers who came to the country. The vast majority of Russians preferred to relax on the Antalya coast, where the resorts of Antalya, Side, Belek, Kemer, Alanya are located. About 12% of tourists from Russia choose Marmaris, Kusadasi, Fethiye, Dalaman and Bodrum. Less than 1% of Russians prefer to go to Istanbul for vacation.
