The Moscow Metro will change its operating hours for Easter. On the night of May 5, metro and MCC stations will be open until 02:00. Worshipers will be able to get to the capital's churches and return home, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Inspectors from the Center for Mobility Support will assist low-mobility citizens at the Kropotkinskaya and Baumanskaya metro stations. The main churches of Moscow, where Easter services are planned, are located near these stations.
Buses, electric buses, and trams will run on 150 routes until 03:30. 16 night routes will continue to operate later.
On Sunday, May 5, Mosgortrans will organize free transportation for passengers to 15 cemeteries. It was previously reported that a new Moskva-2024 train was launched on the Zamoskvoretskaya line .
