The ownership structure of the Russian brand Aurus has been updated. Sollers sold its 0.5% stake in Aurus LLC to Hit Motors Rus. Despite the name, the company belongs to a Kazakh enterprise, High End Assembly Technologies Motors. The amount of the deal is unknown.
Hit Motors Rus was registered in Moscow in July 2022. 1% of it belongs to the General Director of the Moskvich plant, Hans Peter Moser, and 99% to High End Assembly Technologies Motors.
As a reminder, 63.5% of Aurus is owned by FSUE NAMI, and 36% is held by the Arab investment fund Tawazun.
What is Hit Motors Rus Known For?
At the end of 2023, it owned 51% of Traks Vostok Rus LLC. This company produced Kompas trucks. Furthermore, according to data from the end of 2022, Hit Motors Rus owned 50% of Volga Industrial Engines LLC.
