This year, PJSC "KamAZ" will allocate 1.9 billion rubles to the Advanced Engineering School (AES) "CyberAutoTech". Among the projects to be implemented by this school is KAMAZ-1221, a 12-seater unmanned vehicle first presented at the Moscow Motor Show in 2016.

The unmanned vehicle was planned to be used in parks and exhibition centers. The coronavirus pandemic and Western sanctions disrupted plans to start production of the drone in 2020-2021. However, with the creation of the Advanced Engineering School, KamAZ returned to this project. Work is currently underway to select a domestic component base.
