«Kalashnikov» will receive 450 new machines for the production of weapons and ammunition this year, and will be able to more than double the output of defense products.
The development of production facilities became possible thanks to a comprehensive investment development project launched in 2022. Under the project, more than 125 new machine tools were already purchased in 2023.
New CNC machines, milling, machining, thread-grinding and others are installed in newly opened sections in the divisions of weapons and tool production, the division of special equipment production. They allow to increase the production of high-precision ammunition and combat small arms by more than two times.
It is noted that thanks to the new machines, it will be possible not only to produce more traditional weapons, but also to create new types of special products.
