The fuselage and wing consoles of another serial Il-96 aircraft were successfully delivered to the final assembly shop of the PJSC "Il"-VASO branch. This is a significant achievement for the teams of aggregate assembly production shops, confirming the fulfillment of obligations in accordance with the schedule.
The eighteen-ton fuselage was towed on technological chassis, allowing the future airliner to "feel" the runway of the factory airfield.
All these are significant events for us. Work continues, and in accordance with the Il-96 production program, the plant's divisions manufacture parts and assemble units for the next machines.
According to the plan for the current year, the units of another Il-96 should be delivered for final assembly. This allows Voronezh aircraft manufacturers to maintain the planned production rate of two aircraft of this type annually in accordance with the UAC production program.
