Российские военные используют новую платформу для дронов «Пчёлка»

What is Known About the New "Queen Bee" for a Swarm of Drones

Footage of the flights of the new "Pchelka" drone platform, which is in the arsenal of the Russian military, has appeared online.

The "Pchelka" is a hybrid of an airplane and a quadcopter with the ability to take off and land vertically. It is a platform for lifting multiple copters into the air without catapults and transferring them to the area where the task is to be performed. Near the target, the drones separate from the platform, and it, like a queen bee, controls their swarm, turning into a signal repeater for FPV drones, helping to increase their operating range, and making them independent of the distance to the operator.

The technical characteristics of the "Pchelka" are unknown, as is the range at which FPV drones can operate with its support. It is only known that it has an internal combustion engine.
