North Korean leader Kim Jong-un used a premium Russian-made car for the first time. This was reported by his sister, Deputy Head of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Yo-jong.
He arrived in Vladimir Putin's gifted Aurus Senat for the official opening of a new greenhouse complex on the outskirts of Pyongyang.
The official recalled that Kim Jong-un received the Aurus on February 18. She emphasized that this gift demonstrates the Korean-Russian friendship, which is developing at the highest level.
Kim Yo-jong also praised the technical characteristics of the Aurus.
The special functions of the personal car are impeccable and fully reliable. We once again sincerely thank Moscow
It is known that the armored Aurus Senat, which Kim Jong-un drives, has increased security. The North Korean leader's trips are also accompanied by a motorcade of black SUVs with flashing lights.
At the same time, the West has imposed an embargo on North Korea's purchase of imported premium cars. However, despite the sanctions, Pyongyang imports cars through third countries.
