A new section has appeared at \"Barnaultransmash\" (part of \"High-Precision Complexes\" of the Rostec State Corporation), which specializes in the diagnosis and repair of diesel engines. Special attention is paid to engines for infantry fighting vehicles: UTD-20 and UTD-29.
The plant became a participant in an investment project for re-equipment and subsidization of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Rostec State Corporation. The project \"Technical re-equipment of the enterprise\" is designed for 2023-2024. During its operation, \"Barnaultransmash\" has already received more than 160 modern machines of various modifications. The diesel section is just equipped with them.
To disassemble the BMP engines, they are installed on a rotary stand. Then the oil units, fuel equipment, cylinder heads, connecting rod and piston group and crankshaft are removed.
After that, diagnostics of the main parts and assemblies of the engine are carried out. In a corrected state, the reassembled and repaired \"heart\" of the BMP goes to the test station and then goes to the customer of the repair work.
It is known that \"Barnaultransmash\" in 2023 almost 2.5 times increased the volume of production. This also includes engines for infantry fighting vehicles.
