The Russian company Fplus has presented the Flaptop i5-16512 laptop with the "Osnova" operating system. Previously, the OS, developed by domestic specialists at JSC "NPPKT" based on Linux, was available to the corporate segment.

It is known that "Osnova" has high data protection parameters. The devices come pre-installed with "MyOffice" packages, "Yandex Browser", Chromium, Konqueror browsers, as well as Wine (for compatibility with software under Windows OS).

According to him, the demand for domestic technology has increased in the country. In 2023, 256,000 laptops were sold. Now the company has set a goal to fully switch to Russian software.

Market analysts believe that sales of Russian infrastructure software will only grow until 2030. The average annual growth will be about 17%.

Earlier it was reported that Fplus launched the production of laptops, printers and phones in the Moscow region.
