A new exoskeleton has been developed and is being launched into mass production in Russia, capable of helping to move heavy shafts and units in production.
It can be used, in particular, in the field of construction or in equipment repair services - the device itself weighs more than twenty kilograms, but helps to lift and carry up to 60 kg. This is the highest figure for such devices in the country.
The device was created by order of PJSC "MMC "Norilsk Nickel"" and transferred under license to the TechnoSpark group of companies. Now it will be produced at the facilities of the TechnoSpark group's contract business - it is engaged in the production of parts, metalworking and assembly of high-tech equipment. The efficiency of the exoskeleton is monitored by a video recorder with a memory card.
Industrial exoskeletons are used in enterprises where it is impossible to completely abandon manual labor. Thus, the devices not only enhance human capabilities, but also help to avoid overwork, fix the correct body position to avoid overload, sprains and other injuries. With the help of the constructive and technological solution of engineers, the exoskeleton operator practically does not feel the weight of the load. The load is held by a special winch, which eliminates muscle loads of direct action on the muscles of the back, shoulders, hips, and calf muscles.
Almost all the details of the exoskeleton are Russian, this will protect production from risks. According to preliminary estimates, the potential volume of the exoskeleton market in Russia is estimated at twenty thousand pieces. This is production, mining and processing industry, logistics and other areas.
