The Russian company "Rustechdron" has developed and transferred its bomber drone to the Russian troops: the FPV drone "Inferno". It creates an analogue of carpet bombing for a potential enemy, hitting its manpower within a radius of up to five kilometers. So far, this is the only FPV drone in Russia that has bombing capabilities.
In general, the "Inferno" can lift up to four kilograms of payload. As its creators told RIA "Novosti", it carries out bombing on the move due to an additional downward-facing targeting camera.
Grenades are dropped serially from improvised bomb bays - this is how the effect of covering the territory is achieved. In addition, the movement ensures greater survivability of the "Inferno" - it cannot be shot down with small arms. However, Rustechdron does not say at what speed this drone moves. But they note that they have already produced and transferred "hundreds" of "Inferno" units to the military.
