Стало известно, как будут называться Hyundai Solaris и Hyundai Creta в России

Emblems for Russian-assembled Solaris cars have already been tested

Sergey Tsyganov, an auto expert, in his Telegram channel "Russian Automobile" showed what the new emblems look like for cars that will be assembled at the former Hyundai Motor plant - Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus in St. Petersburg.

A photo of the new emblem of the line in the oval recognizable to motorists was taken in the parking lot at the factory. According to Tsyganov, the Solaris emblem began to be tested even before the deal to sell the plant to Russian businessmen was certified - and it passed tests for chemical resistance, temperature changes and other parameters

This does not mean that Solaris will be used by Avilon as the main brand of HMMR (as some media wrote yesterday with reference to me: I did not assert this!). This is just evidence of the work done and, accordingly, the probability of using this brand is higher than any other.

In December 2023, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant after almost two years of downtime was bought by the Russian LLC "Art-Finance", associated with the dealer "Avilon", in early January it started working.

During the deal, parts for assembling hundreds of cars remained in the factory warehouses and Hyundai Motor allowed the new owners to assemble them - but under new brands. According to various estimates, the plant in St. Petersburg will be able to assemble more than ten thousand cars from the parts that remained there at the time of the deal.

The leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that the department expects the first cars to come off the assembly line of this plant after the launch by the middle of the year.
