The Russian Armed Forces have received the first samples of the "Koalitsiya-SV" self-propelled artillery systems (ACS). Rostec noted that the gun surpasses Western counterparts in firing range, which will give the Russian military a great advantage.
State tests were successfully completed in October 2023. Now the manufacturer has established serial production of the "Koalitsiya-SV"
The latest self-propelled gun is equipped with a 2A88 152 mm caliber gun, which fires at a rate of more than 10 rounds per minute. The howitzer is based on the T-90 tank platform and is capable of hitting all existing ground targets at a distance of up to 70 km.
The "Koalitsiya-SV" received a fire raid mode. The workplaces of the gunner and commander are equipped with digital displays that are integrated into the tactical control system. This allows you to receive signals about targets via a digital communication channel, as well as monitor enemy positions around the clock.
Earlier, military expert Yuri Knutov attributed the "Koalitsiya-SV" self-propelled gun to weapons that have no analogues in the world.
