The Russian Armed Forces have received the first samples of the "Koalitsiya-SV" self-propelled artillery systems (ACS). Rostec noted that the gun surpasses Western counterparts in firing range, which will give the Russian military a great advantage.
State tests were successfully completed in October 2023. Now the manufacturer has established serial production of the "Koalitsiya-SV"
The latest self-propelled gun is equipped with a 2A88 152 mm caliber gun, which fires at a rate of more than 10 rounds per minute. The howitzer is based on the T-90 tank platform and is capable of hitting all existing ground targets at a distance of up to 70 km.
The "Koalitsiya-SV" has received a fire raid mode. The workplaces of the gunner and commander are equipped with digital displays that are integrated into the tactical control system. This allows receiving signals about targets via a digital communication channel, as well as conducting round-the-clock surveillance of enemy positions.
Earlier, military expert Yuri Knutov attributed the "Koalitsiya-SV" self-propelled gun to weapons that have no analogues in the world.
