The Russian Ministry of Defense has demonstrated the operation of the Metis-M1 man-portable anti-tank missile system in action.
The 130-mm missile of the "Metis" has an enhanced tandem warhead, which gives it a penetration of at least 900-950 mm, like large-caliber artillery shells.
It hits stationary and moving tanks and other armored targets with dynamic protection at speeds up to 60 km/h. It can also target fortifications and enemy personnel.
According to the Ministry of Defense, ATGMs create"a multi-component anti-tank defense system characterized by increased flexibility of use".
