The first new modification cars for the "Moscow-2020" metro trains have begun to be assembled for the Moscow Metro - they will be launched in the new year 2024. In the next two years, the metro will receive more than five hundred of these cars.
At the same time, the previous advantages of the cars, which can mainly be found only on the BCL and MCC, are retained: doors through which you can freely pass, seamless transitions between cars, convenient navigation for passengers, climate systems with a disinfection function and other comfortable conditions will remain in place.
The novelties will be launched not only on the BCL and MCC, but also on the metro lines where the old trains need to be updated. Prior to this, "Moscow-2020" cars have already been partially introduced on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya metro line (orange line number six).
It is already known that the new "Moscow-2020" metro trains will appear on the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line (green line number two). Drivers are already being trained for them.
