The Russian company Beshtau plans to expand its production in the Rostov Region by 2027. In an exclusive interview with Don24 TV channel, the region's governor, Vasily Golubev, shared ambitious prospects — the "Made in Don" brand will not be limited to food products only. The region will also establish the development and creation of various equipment, including tablets and smartphones. This project, supported by the government, is designed to change the perception of the "Made in Don" brand.
The company will be engaged in the production of laptops and computer components: motherboards, lithium batteries, etc. By 2027, the company plans to produce mobile devices and tablets.
There is still time until 2027, but the governor of the Rostov Region is determined to become the owner of domestic equipment from Beshtau.

GC Beshtau has already established itself in the market, engaged in the production of import-substituting radio electronics and computer equipment in the region. In 2022, the company began producing electronic boards for radio-electronic products. A full-cycle plant for the production of laptops is already under construction. In addition, the company has launched a project to create a radio-electronic cluster in Rostov-on-Don and Essentuki, investing 12 billion rubles.
These steps are part of the company's strategy to expand production facilities, designed to strengthen its position in the electronics market and emphasize the technological potential of the region.
