At the end of November, Moscow will begin testing "Pixel" robotic cleaning platforms on an electric chassis, according to Alexey Sividov, General Director of the developer company "Avtonomika", a resident of the "Lomonosov" cluster ( the flagship cluster of the new technological valley of the MSU Science and Technology Park, has a special legal status - editor's note www1.ru).
According to him, the work will take place in city parks.
We are working on the robot's routes, the geometry of the park, studying traffic, pedestrian behavior, and the reaction of animals and birds to the robot
For now, "Pixel" operates with an operator, but there is the possibility of autonomous cleaning. The program runtime on a single charge is up to 16 hours. During this time, the cleaning robot can clean an area of 10 to 40 thousand m².
Special attachments (brushes, pumps, hoses) help it not only sweep the street, but also wash the asphalt. The developers also want to teach "Pixel" to mow the lawn.
The robot moves using satellite navigation, motion sensors, and a circular view camera. Thanks to this, the intelligent system inside "Pixel" builds a cleaning route in such a way as to safely bypass obstacles.
It was previously reported that at Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, they improved the robot dog, teaching it to perform simple commands.
