The Rostec holding company 'High Precision Systems' (which combines 12 enterprises working in the field of advanced weapons, military and special equipment, is under sanctions from the US, EU, Canada - www1.ru editor's note) supplied the Russian Armed Forces with GM-94 manual grenade launchers, AGS-30 automatic grenade launchers and PP-2000 submachine guns.
It is noted that the GM-94 (a pump-action grenade launcher with a movable barrel) is in demand among stormtroopers, effectively hitting the enemy hiding in fortifications. It was developed at the Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau.
The AGS-30 is suitable for motorized infantry thanks to its universal technical characteristics: the weapon is effective for both attack and defense. The grenade launcher is equipped with a light tripod mount, which allows firing even from unprepared positions. The AGS-30 is produced at the Kaluga Telegraph Equipment Factory.
The PP-2000 provides high fire density at ranges up to 200 m. The submachine gun uses 9×19 mm cartridges or high-pressure cartridges, which have greater penetrating power. The PP-2000 has been operated by Russian military personnel since 2006. Developed at the Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau.
It was previously reported that the High Precision Systems holding company plans to integrate FPV drones into the standard armament of all lightly armored Russian vehicles.
