Russian software solution developers, in the face of sanctions, have shifted their focus to exports in Asian countries. About 74% of domestic companies consider this market to be one of the most promising. This is stated in a study conducted by 'Руссофт' (Russoft) and 'Отечественный софт' (Domestic Software).
It is noted that 43% of Russian developers are interested in exporting their software products to CIS countries. Another 35% of respondents would like to supply their software to the countries of the Persian Gulf.
Russian experts are expecting an increase in IT exports to South America and African states. However, the current leaders in importing Russian software are Asia (accounting for 34% of Russian software exports) and Europe (29%).
The research highlights the demand for software solutions in the e-government segment, agricultural sector and telecom. Industrial and energy sectors are named as promising.
'Russoft' is an association of software development companies in Russia. The organization includes 343 IT companies with a total staff of more than 85,000 employees.
'Domestic Software' is an association of developers in Russia, which also deals with import substitution issues. The organization includes representatives of major companies such as 'New cloud technologies', 'Kaspersky Lab', and SKB Contour.
