The eco-friendly BELAZ-7558N dump truck, capable of running on natural gas, was presented in St. Petersburg at the XII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. Eleven of these dump trucks have already been purchased for Kuzbass.
The Belarusian dump truck has a gas piston engine with a capacity of 1,068 hp and a modern AC-DC traction electric drive.
Its cryogenic tanks can hold 1400 and 350 liters of gas. It can work a shift without refueling. The BELAZ-7558H is 35% more economical than its diesel counterparts and many times more environmentally friendly.
In addition, it can be equipped with IMS quarry transport monitoring systems from the developer company, if desired.
