Digitalization has reached the older generation of Muscovites as well. They are getting used to using city services online through the official portal of the Mayor and Government of Moscow "Mos.ru".
As Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel, the number of portal users aged 55 and older has tripled in the last three years.
The electronic medical record became the most popular service for older Muscovites in 2022. It was accessed about 30 million times.
In second place were housing and communal services: more than 17.6 million requests were received for submitting readings from household meters.
In third place were family connections. More than 2.8 million requests were related to the desire of Muscovites to view the electronic diaries of their grandchildren.
Finally, Muscovites applied for benefits and preferential statuses through the portal more than 753 thousand times.
The "Moscow Longevity" project for education and leisure of older Muscovites is also in demand. The youngest of its users are 55 years old, the oldest is already 87 years old.
