In Russia, the "Flint" night vision system is being developed on the basis of Legat thermal imaging sights, which will help to get close to a potential enemy. Its difference from its predecessors is that it is mounted on both cars and ATVs - it should also be more compact.
As representatives of the management of the developing company told TASS, "Flint" is installed in the front of an ATV or on the roof of a car in a few minutes. Power is supplied to it, and it begins to transmit the image. It can be displayed on a screen or on glasses with liquid crystal screens worn by the driver.
"Flint" will help not only intelligence, but also medical services. Thanks to it, medical transport can move in the dark without using headlights.
The final technical solution of the device in the "Laboratory PPSh" is expected to be presented in mid-November.
