The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has presented a list of cars recommended for purchase for civil servants. These are models with a high level of localization.
The list includes models from Russian manufacturers AvtoVAZ, UAZ, Aurus, Moskvič, Evolute, as well as the Chinese concern Haval. The ministry noted that the list will be supplemented with new brands in the future.
According to the manufacturers' price lists provided to RIA Novosti, the most budget-friendly car for officials is the Lada Granta. The price for it starts from 700 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration. The most expensive was the premium-class SUV Aurus Komendant - from 40 million rubles.
The press service of AvtoVAZ commented on the list presented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The company reminded that all Lada models will participate in public procurement. However, the Lada Aura representative sedan, which will be launched in the fall of 2024, will best meet the requirements of the ministry.
It was previously reported that Haval Dargo crossovers were purchased for security forces in the Moscow region.
