Cars produced by Chinese concerns are becoming better in quality, and their demand among Russians is growing. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin during an official visit to Beijing to participate in the "One Belt, One Road" forum.
The head of state said that Russia and China have good prospects for cooperation in many areas, including automotive, aircraft, and shipbuilding.
Putin said that he had recently spoken with fans of the Chinese automotive industry. And the interlocutors of the Russian leader spoke highly of cars produced by Chinese specialists. He explained the popularity of cars from China by their quality.

Putin himself prefers Russian cars. Recently, at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow, he was behind the wheel of the domestic armored SUV Aurus.
