It is noted that it can withstand six hits from a bullet fired from a Dragunov sniper rifle (SVD).

According to a representative of "Filin", the design is a solid ceramic plate. Thanks to this, it has become anatomical and has two bends: around the body and along the chest. It is known that the new plate is simpler and easier to manufacture, since less glue is required to maintain the structure of the armor package.

"Filin" reminded that GOST provides for ensuring protection by a body armor with five hits from the SVD. Their development withstood six hits and did not crumble. Now the ceramic plate is undergoing the necessary tests and is being finalized.

Earlier, Rostec tested the Russian body armor "Obereg", firing 8.6 × 70 mm Lapua Magnum bullets into it. The result amazed the specialists.
