The development and production of Lancet kamikaze drones was an initiative of ZALA Aero (Izhevsk), which is part of the Kalashnikov concern. The drones are armed with high-explosive fragmentation and cumulative warheads. The design of the "Lancet" uses composite materials that make them practically invisible to air defense radar systems.
Earlier, the chief designer of ZALA Aero told how the loitering ammunition "Lancet" will be modified. According to him, the drone will be practically invulnerable.
