The Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, announced that the updated version of the luxury class car Aurus Senat will start production from May 2024. 

Aurus is a Russian line of executive cars, which was developed by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. It is expected that the new Aurus will replace the Western service cars of state officials. 

The brand is expanding its commercial sales, including to friendly countries. This is facilitated by the efforts of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who earlier showed colleagues from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan a bullet-proof version of the Aurus Komendant crossover. The head of state also drove the SUV on the territory of his suburban residence.
