New reinforced "Tiger-M" entered the Russian troops

An improved armored vehicle "Tiger-M SpN" has appeared in the Russian troops. This is reported by the Telegram channel "RG | Russian weapons".

The completed "Tiger-M" features significantly enhanced protection of the wheels, front of the hull, windshield and upgraded doors. It is equipped with a 12.7 mm "Kord" machine gun or a 7.62 mm PKTM and a "Tucha" curtain system.

However, the rest of the "stuffing" of the "Tiger-M" seems to remain unchanged.

Characteristics of "Tiger-M"

"Tiger-M SpN" is a wheeled armored vehicle for multipurpose use manufactured by Rosoboronexport, designed for 9 people.

It is used for reconnaissance, escorting and guarding convoys and units, patrolling, as well as for conducting special and counter-terrorism operations and towing trailers up to 12.5 tons.

On top, the "Tiger-M" has a rotating platform with mounts for installing weapons and a double-leaf hatch.

In addition, it has places for installing a radio station, a radio-controlled explosive device blocker and combat remotely controlled modules.

The "Tiger-M" is designed to operate at temperatures from minus 50 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. Its weight is 7800 kg. The length of the hull is 5600 mm, the width is 2400 mm, the height is 2500 mm, the ground clearance is 400 mm.

The power of the diesel engine "Tiger-M" is 215 hp. On the highway, it can reach a maximum speed of up to 110 km/h. The fuel range is 1000 km.
