New Grunwald refrigerated and container semi-trailers to be assembled in Moscow region

The new plant, worth almost a billion rubles, is designed for the domestic market and will produce 5-7 thousand units of equipment per year only at the first stage of operation

In 2025, Grunwald will launch the production of semi-trailers in the Yesipovo industrial park in Solnechnogorsk, Moscow region. Thanks to the Moscow Region Development Corporation, 12 hectares of land have already been allocated for the construction of the future plant, worth almost a billion rubles.

At the first stage, approximately 5-7 thousand units of equipment will be produced per year, and then the capacity will only increase - the company is betting on the Russian market.

According to the press service of KRMO, the full-cycle plant with a full complex of production sites will produce curtain and flatbed semi-trailers, refrigerated semi-trailers and container semi-trailers. Everything will go to the domestic market, production capacity will be actively increased: now the demand for Grunwald products in the country has grown by as much as 141%.

Grunwald commercial vehicles are known abroad for deliveries to the CIS countries, Europe and Africa. However, the new plant in the Yesipovo industrial park is primarily designed to strengthen the company's position in the domestic market and will be focused on meeting the demand among Russian customers of the company.

The future plant will employ about 200 residents of the Solnechnogorsk district and the nearest municipalities of the Moscow region, as well as students - Grunwald intends to organize production practices with subsequent employment.
