Students at Penza State University have developed corrosion-resistant pipes. According to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science, they have already interested representatives of the domestic chemical and oil and gas industries and will be tested in practice in the near future.

The pipes are very easy to manufacture, they consist of layered metal materials with an internal protector.

One such protector becomes 6 times more resistant to corrosion than a solid sheet of stainless steel. Two layers strengthen the pipe by 23 times.
