The Russian concern "AvtoVAZ" is preparing for the premiere of the Lada Vesta Sportline, tests of cars with the participation of media employees began at the "Fort Grozny" autodrome in the capital of the Chechen Republic. According to unofficial information, the Lada Vesta Sportline will have a 1.6-liter engine with a capacity of up to 120 hp, as well as a five-speed manual transmission.
According to AvtoVAZ, sales of the car will begin before the end of autumn 2023. The company promises to announce the cost, as well as the technical characteristics and configuration of the Lada Vesta Sportline closer to the start of sales.
The world-class "Fort Grozny" autodrome opened in Chechnya in 2015. Its area is about 60 hectares, it houses an exhibition complex, tuning boxes, stands for spectators, a gas station and other infrastructure.
Earlier, motorists were offered to purchase Lada at factory prices with a discount.
