Tinkoff Bank has announced the return of its business app to the AppStore. It is called "Business Words" and is available for devices iOS 14 and above.
In order to install the application, iPhone users will need the Safari browser and Internet access. However, for now, you can only download the Tinkoff Business app on iOS directly from the bank's website, following the instructions.
Do not install the Tinkoff Business application from other sources - it may be unsafe.
Thus, bank representatives want to protect customers from fraudsters who create fake applications on its behalf. After the Tinkoff application disappeared from Google Play and the AppStore due to Western sanctions, fraudsters launched a fake application on behalf of the bank in the AppStore, stealing personal data. Several thousand Tinkoff client users managed to download it. Representatives of the financial institution then even appealed to the management of the marketplace to have the malicious application removed.
