At the very end of August, the first test flight of the domestic import-substituted airliner SJ-100 took place, and yesterday the plane was tested in the air again – it rose twice as high: 6 km versus 3 km.
Again news from Komsomolsk-on-Amur: there the second flight of the SJ-100 just completed as part of the factory refinement tests. The second one lasted longer, 75 minutes and took place at altitudes up to 6000 meters.

The plane was piloted by a crew composed of Commander Leonid Chikunov, second pilot Sergey Zavalkin, and onboard engineer Denis Velizhanin.
During the flight, the crew performed landing gear retraction, checked the operation of the air conditioning systems and automatic pressure regulation in the cabin, as well as the operation of the anti-icing system of the engine air intakes and the functioning of the fuel system in cross-feeding mode with the inclusion and exclusion of pumps. During the landing, the automatic braking system was tested with the deployment of air brakes.
