«Rostec» created eco-technosol for growing plants, it is suitable for the garden as well

«Rostec» today announced the successful conduct of an experiment for the cultivation of plants - flowers and vegetables - in an environmentally friendly technosol of its own production, obtained from organic waste. The experiment was conducted at the waste recycling complexes of «RT-Invest».

«RT-Invest» applies two technologies for the processing of organic waste:

• windrow composting in hangars with loosening. Organic waste is placed in special windrows for 14 days;

• composting in climate chambers. Pre-sifted organics are sent to concrete structures 45 m long, similar to bathtubs, and covered with a membrane. Special sensors are used in the composting process, which automatically control the temperature and oxygen content.

The ready-made technical soil can be used both for greening territories and, for example, for road backfilling. The company has already produced 550 thousand tons of technosol.
