Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant "Patriot" with a V8 gasoline engine and automatic transmission started production in Russia

Standard units are replaced with more powerful and durable ones

Armour Group has started producing special Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant "Patriot" vehicles – armored ones. Outwardly, these SUVs do not differ from ordinary serial Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant vehicles, but the "stuffing" is completely different.

The 135-horsepower ZMZ engine and manual gearbox are replaced with a 3UZ-FE engine from Toyota (V8 with a volume of 4.6 liters and a power of 280 hp) and a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission. In addition, almost the entire suspension is changed (springs, shock absorbers, leaf springs), reinforced brake hoses, enlarged brake discs and other pads are installed.

The armored car is equipped with 39 mm thick glass, anti-splinter protection of the bottom, special steel blinds to protect the radiator, and a backup battery. This armored car was named Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant "Patriot" AGlion. The cost of the car is not disclosed – it is reported upon request.
