"Rostec" launched the production of IGLA CHAMPION ammunition to replace imported cartridges, which are no longer supplied to Russia. IGLA CHAMPION is suitable for all disciplines of stand shooting; they can be used both in training and in competitions. In terms of their characteristics, the cartridges are not inferior to foreign counterparts, but at the same time cheaper.
IGLA CHAMPION is a fast and stable cartridge. During testing, the ammunition showed good target fragmentation into 10 or more fragments and no misfires in the series. The shotgun's recoil is comfortable and soft, and after firing the barrel's channel remains clean.

Sports buckshot is made from a lead-antimony alloy using a special technology, which provides increased hardness. The speed of IGLA CHAMPION buckshot is at least 400 m/s, average pack and spray – not less than 75%, confident target defeat distance – more than 60 m.
Many Western manufacturers have left Russia, causing a shortage of ammunition. To ensure our athletes have everything they need to win, we have launched the IGLA CHAMPION cartridges into production. They are fully made from Russian materials, they are not inferior in any way, and in some characteristics they even surpass foreign competitors. The novelty has aroused a great interest among shooters, leading clubs in Moscow and the Moscow region have already made the first orders. The created capacities will allow us to produce more than 100 million pieces of such cartridges a year, which will satisfy the demand in the domestic market.
