We are currently developing an upgraded Yak-130M aircraft for special tasks and advanced pilot training.
The Yak-130 was developed as an advanced aircraft for training military pilots, but it is exported as a light attack aircraft. Which specific special tasks are being talked about have not been reported.
The Yak-130 is intended to replace the L-39 training aircraft and is capable of performing maneuvers typical for fourth- and fifth-generation fighters. The Yak-130 is the first entirely new aircraft built in Russia after the collapse of the USSR.
