Ruselectronics holding, which is part of Rostec, announced the development of a new radar station (RLS) that will not only detect, but also suppress drones. It will be a portable radar station capable of suppressing even mini-drones like the DJI Mini.
The device will be able to track mini-copters at a distance of up to 500 meters in motion and up to 250 meters in a hovering state. Currently, the development is in its final stage. The complete complex will be ready by the end of September.
Earlier, Ruselectronics presented a portable multifunctional radar station weighing 25 kg, designed to protect against aerial drones, as well as detect ground equipment and surface targets.
