Russian Ambassador to Tanzania Andrey Avetisyan spoke about Rosatom's new project - uranium mining in Tanzania.
Rosatom's subsidiary Mantra in Tanzania is implementing a uranium mining project. As far as I know, they are now completing the construction of a uranium processing plant, and in the coming months, I think we will hear that this small pilot project has been launched. In the coming years, if it develops successfully, the company will move on to a serious industrial volume of uranium mining and processing.
Earlier, Rosatom promised to launch a pilot project for uranium ore mining in Tanzania in 2023-2025.
