Rostec announced the transfer of the first batch of 2S41 Drok self-propelled mortars to the troops. This complex is based on the chassis of the Typhoon armored vehicle and is designed to suppress both enemy manpower and light armored vehicles.
The 2S41 Drok received a modern fire control system, and it is possible to fire without leaving the cabin, and the transition of equipment from the stowed position to the combat position takes less than a minute.
One of the main advantages of the complex is its high rate of fire: more than 10 rounds per minute. The ammunition load consists of 40 mines.
