A domestic tomograph for industry has appeared in Russia. It can be used to check the quality of parts printed on a 3D printer

It was developed by companies from St. Petersburg and Moscow

The first fully domestic tomograph for industry has been created in Russia. ELTECH-Med from St. Petersburg worked on the hardware, and Smart Tomo Engine 2.0 software was created by the Moscow IT company Smart Engines.

We developed the software for our tomographs ourselves, but in order to reach a new level, we decided to join forces with a strong partner. Therefore, we started cooperation with Smart Engines, the manufacturer of Smart Tomo Engine 2.0 tomographic reconstruction software, which is not inferior to Western counterparts, and in some ways even surpasses them.
Evgeny Potrakhov, General Director of ELTECH-Med

The industrial tomograph is used to control the quality of the internal structure of devices of various sizes - from microcircuits to industrial engines. With its help, you can get a three-dimensional image of an object in high resolution, compare it with an ideal model for compliance with composition, size, presence of cracks and other hidden defects.

Understanding the needs of Russian industry, we, together with ELTECH-Med, are ready to start mass production of a domestic industrial tomograph. The partnership potential allows us to produce up to 50 units per year, which will fully cover the needs of domestic customers. Thanks to our unique product, we expect to occupy a significant market share.
Vladimir Arlazarov, General Director of Smart Engines

The cost of one device will be from 10 to 20 million rubles, depending on the configuration.
