A domestic industrial tomograph has appeared in Russia. With it, you can check the quality of parts printed on a 3D printer

Companies from St. Petersburg and Moscow worked on it

A fully domestic tomograph for industry has been created in Russia. The hardware part was worked on by the St. Petersburg ELTECH-Med, and the software Smart Tomo Engine 2.0 was created by the Moscow IT company Smart Engines.

We developed software for our own tomographs, but to reach a new level, we decided to team up with a strong partner. So we started to cooperate with the company Smart Engines, the manufacturer of the tomographic reconstruction software Smart Tomo Engine 2.0, which is not inferior to Western counterparts, and in some ways even surpasses them.

General Director of "ELTECH-Med" Evgeny Potrakhov

Industrial tomography is used for quality control of the internal structure of devices of various sizes - from microcircuits to industrial engines. With it, you can get a three-dimensional image of an object in high resolution, compare it to the ideal model in terms of composition, dimensions, presence of cracks and other hidden defects.

Understanding the needs of Russian industry, we together with ELTECH-Med are ready to start mass production of a domestic industrial tomograph. The potential of partnership allows us to produce up to 50 units a year, which will fully meet the needs of domestic customers. Thanks to our unique product, we expect to take a significant market share.

General Director of Smart Engines Vladimir Arlazarov

The cost of one device will range from 10 to 20 million rubles depending on the configuration.
