The President of the Drone Racing Federation of Russia, Ilya Galaev, announced that the organization is considering launching drone production in Russia in collaboration with Chinese companies.
Most of the component parts for quadcopters are produced abroad. At the moment, Russia produces only a small percentage of spare parts, for example, frames for drones, which are made of carbon fiber or fiberglass, as well as additional parts for fasteners that are printed on a 3D printer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to produce some parts in our country, since there are no minerals necessary for the production of these parts. In the future, the Drone Racing Federation of Russia is considering the possibility of cooperating with Chinese companies in the production of components and opening factories for their production in Russia.
