The president of the Russian Drone Racing Federation, Ilya Galaev, announced that the organization is considering the launch of drone production in Russia in collaboration with Chinese companies.
Most quadcopter components are manufactured abroad. At present, only a small percentage of spare parts, such as drone frames made of carbon or fiberglass, as well as additional fastening parts printed on a 3D printer, are made in Russia. Unfortunately, it is not possible to produce some parts in our country due to the absence of necessary minerals for their production. In the future, the Russian Drone Racing Federation is considering the possibility of cooperating with Chinese companies regarding the production of components and the opening of factories for their production on Russian territory.
