The United Engine Corporation, part of Rostec, announced today that four GPA-16 gas pumping units with a total capacity of 64 MW will be supplied to Gazprom Komplektatsiya by the end of the year to increase the capacity of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
"The reliable and efficient GPA-16 units [based on the PS-90GP2 gas turbine engines] are created using the most modern technologies, they fully meet the high standards of Gazprom, required for equipment of this level. Today, more than 90 gas turbine units of the GPA-16 operate throughout Russia, including on the main gas pipeline "Power of Siberia" and the Bovanenkovo oil and gas condensate field in Yamal", - said Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy Director of Rostec.
