A magistrate court has fined Google's Russian subsidiary 4 billion rubles for non-payment of an earlier fine imposed by the FAS.
«The company [Google] must additionally pay more than 4 billion rubles to the budget of the Russian Federation. Today, the Magistrate Court of the Presnensky District of Moscow issued a decision against Google LLC to impose a fine in double the amount of the fine of the FAS of Russia not paid within the prescribed period», - said in a statement by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
Recall that in February last year, the FAS of Russia established that the rules related to «the formation, suspension, blocking of accounts and the handling of user content on YouTube are opaque, biased and unpredictable». For this, Google was fined 2 billion rubles.
Google has 60 days to pay the fine, if this does not happen, the court may impose liability in double the amount, and the case will be transferred to bailiffs.
