'Rostec' has reported that the special protective material 'Nakidka', developed at the Steel Research Institute, has been launched into mass production and has already started being supplied to customers. In particular, Russian tanks are already being equipped with 'Nakidka'.
'Nakidka' is a kind of camouflaging 'blanket': the material used in it protects tanks and equipment from detection by radar and thermal imaging reconnaissance devices, its deforming coloring provides optical camouflage.
