35 Evocargo unmanned cargo platforms assembled in Moscow, 115 more to be made by the end of the year

A new approach to cargo transportation in a limited area

Not everyone knows, but advanced unmanned trucks are being created in Moscow. They are called Evocargo and are designed to transport goods in a specific (closed) area. For example, a factory or warehouse. 35 of these robotic vehicles have already been assembled, and the number is expected to increase to 150 by the end of the year.

Interestingly, Evocargo are not sold – they are leased on a subscription basis. This is the business model. At the SPIEF-2023, the company signed cooperation agreements with the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) and plans to scale up the autonomous cargo transportation service.

Evocargo are based on UAZ axles, while the chassis is fully steerable – not only the front wheels turn, but also the rear ones. The air suspension allows you to adjust the ground clearance for easy loading/unloading. The 105 A·h traction battery can be charged or quickly replaced.
