The trend for the revival of Soviet car brands may reach and to "Oka". At least in the Ministry of Industry and Trade support the idea of reviving this well-known many car brand - if there will be an appropriate offer from car manufacturers.
"We will support those colleagues from the auto industry who will come up with such proposals, ready to consider such a question promptly. Because the first swallow - this is "Moskvich" in addition to "Lada", then will be "Volga", I hope, already next year", - said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
About the project of revival of the "Volga" we have already talked in detail, such a car will definitely appear in the summer of 2024. However, no illusions: like the "Moskvich", it will be the renamed "Chinese". The revived "Volga" will have (initially) only the name.
