«In 2023, 11 foreign airlines regularly operate flights through the airspace of Russia on transpolar routes: Air India Limited, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Cargo Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Pakistan International Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Qatar Airways Company, Qatar Executive», – Rosaviatsiya said.
Transpolar routes are the shortest international air routes connecting North America with countries in East and Southeast Asia.
